Water water everywhere....

This weekend was a watery one...a wavy one....and a hell lotta fun..:)

Had been to water kingdom with my new friends...my office buddies...:)

I never thought I could have fun with a varied age group...but I was proved wrong...and was obviously happy I was ...:)

So, we started early...(I was the first pickup..and so had to get up early...yeah yeah I got up really early..have never woken up so early even to study for exams...:P)....

We made so much noise all the way...played dumb charades like I'd never played before...coz people here...made such wild guesses...silly guesses...but they were so well-timed that one couldn't help but laugh...!So in short I was laughing all the time...(waise bhi I laugh a lot...:D)

We reached water kingdom at 10:30 and I thought we won't stay in longer than 3-4, but to my amazement....the place was so nice...so well maintained...so clean...so much fun..that we stayed in the water till around 6-6:30...

It wasn't only the place, but the group I was with ... they made me feel so comfortable...that I felt I knew them since ages...:)

The fun part was...most of them had to keep away their spectacles...as its difficult to look after them in the water and the slides and stuff...so they were like...people with blurred visions...and once they even cheered someone thinking it was one of our colleagues....:D

Another debacle with the blurred vision was when one of them wanted to overturn my float...but actually overturned a stranger's float...:D:D:P

It was a memorable trip...and a nicely spent weekend....I not only enjoyed the place, but also enjoyed discovering my newfound friends...:)


 

As for the after effects of the trip...

  • am still swaying to and fro...like I was in a wavy pool...:P
  • Owing to exercise after ages...all my muscles are hurting..and so Im laughing a lil less..(...coz the stomach muscles hurt while laughing..:D )
  • Im eagerly looking forward to another fun filled trip...some other place...:)
  • Even though I had a sore throat, I gulped down ice-cream and a gola..(cudnt help it...aadat se majboor)...so now I have a really bad sore throat...:P

This time pree’s tweets are going to show me the way J 22 nd December : 9:29 AM Aah.. Njoying.. Nw wating frnds to come to ma home!! We were on the way to banaglore, boarded a 9pm bus from pune. The bookings were done in advance but last minute hiccups are always there. The travel decided to change their pick up point without informing the boarders. Luckily dad was home early and ash and my baggage got a ride through the traffic jam at yerwada. We were panicking about the bus leaving but then were waiting for almost half an hour after the scheduld hour, for the bus to start. Anyhow we thus started our 14 hour journey to the city of gardens! 1 year and still moving on...

I complete my first year with the IT industry...I complete 1 year of corporate life today on the 6th of July 2009. Last year, the 7th July..was a day full of apprehensions, expectations, adjustment, anxiety. My first day at work...just fresh out of college. I didnt't even have my BE results then, not that I was doubtful of the results..:P For my experience on the first day, read this . My first year has been so enjoyable, and I'm sure it wouldnt have been as much fun, had I not been at AirTight. People here are fun, and give you the freedom to work as per your convenience as long as your convenient schedules do no outstretch the company deadlines, which is more than fair. Thats precisely why I never missed important events like, results (even though they were on a Saturday),my convocation ceremony. I havent missed other fun too like meeting friends for a movie, or a coffee or for shopping...all at my convenience. The environment is conducive too. And my idea of working is work

A job can be sooo much fun too...

I dunno y I didn't write abt this earlier....bt nevertheless...   Lets start with my first day at AirTight... I arrive in semi-formals...spick n span...wondering how d ppl arnd r gonna be....(nt tat I expected strict discipline n stuff...bt...even then...) As usual....am a bit too punctual...arrive even before the HR...:) so...use the time yakking to frnds..sitting in d parking lot... After the formalities...r done with...am askd to wait for a meeting (scheduled at 12) to be introduced to my team... I had arnd an hour before the meeting...n so...thoughts,expectations abt the team...abt the work..kept creeping in...
